Description
Calvados Fine by Charles de Granville was born in the municipality of Castelnau-d'Auzan, in the heart of the AOC Calvados. It is produced from carefully selected apples, of the Bisquet, Bedan, Petit Joy and Saint Martin varieties, harvested at full maturity. After continuous distillation in a column still of about 12 months, it follows an aging of at least 24 months in small, very dry oak barrels.
Pale golden-yellow color, it has a fresh caramel scent, enriched with intense fruity and vanilla notes. On the palate it is fine and elegant, with a pleasantly fruity and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany the end of the meal, thanks to its digestive properties, this brandy is ideal to serve as an aperitif, with ice, or as an ingredient for the preparation of high quality cocktails. Try it with pear and apple juice.
