Description

Carmignano Riserva Le Vigne Alte Montalbiolo of Fattoria Ambra is produced from the cru of Santa Cristina in Pilli and Montefortini in Carmignano, in Tuscany.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and Canaiolo Nero and Cabernet grapes, harvested entirely by hand. The wine ages for 12 months in tonneaux and for 12 months in oak barrels before being bottled.

It is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet hues. The nose opens with elegant hints of cherries, blackberries and blueberries, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of nutmeg and delicate balsamic nuances. On the palate it is structured and harmonious, with subtle tannins and a persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
