Description

Casg Annamh from Aberlour is a whiskey that owes its special character to the combination of woods used in the maturation phase. Its very particular name draws from the Gaelic language and carries the meaning of "rare barrel". In fact, there are three types of barrels used for aging: an oak barrel that previously hosted European sherry and two different American oak barrels.

A complex Whiskey is obtained, reminiscent of coffee and honey on the nose, with a nuance of candied peel and raisins. The palate is full-bodied and soft, with fruity notes of apple and oriental spices that bring liveliness to the sip.
