Castel del Monte DOC Aglianico Animae Agri 2013 Tor de' Falchi

The Castel del Monte Animae Agri of Tor de 'Falchi was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Minervino Murge, on the hills of Alta Murgia, in Puglia.

It is produced with pure Aglianico grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel wine tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees for 6 months in steel, 10 months in Slavonian oak barriques and finally in the bottle, before being placed on the market.

It has a ruby red color, with intense purple reflections. The nose opens with intense hints of ripe red fruit, accompanied by spicy notes. On the palate it is fruity and elegant, well structured and soft, with a pleasantly tannic and harmonious finish.

Perfect to accompany roasts and pasta with game sauces, this wine is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
