Description
Chronicon Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo by Zaccagnini is a wine suitable for those who want to discover one of the finest denominations among Italian rosé wines, the Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOC.
After harvesting the grapes, white vinification follows and the free-run must is cold stabilized for about 7 days at close to 0 degrees. Fermentation then takes place at a controlled temperature for about 10 days.
In the glass, the wine appears as an intense cherry-pink. The nose reveals aromas of cherry, pomegranate, and wild strawberry, while the palate is fresh, vibrant, and savory.
Excellent with grilled vegetable starters and cold cuts, but also with pasta dishes topped with meat sauce and with pizza.
