Description
The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo by Mazzarosa is made exclusively from native red grapes vinified as rosé.
With vineyards located in the Teramo area of Casal Thaulero near Roseto degli Abruzzi, the harvest takes place in the first week of October. After a brief contact with the skins, which gives the wine its distinctive color, fermentation and ageing occur, with two months in the bottle until March following the harvest.
Intense pink in color, the nose reveals fruity notes of cherry and strawberry, interspersed with delicate herbal hints of rose and linden. On the palate, it is warm and smooth with a bold structure and aromatic profile that fully expresses the fruit's richness.
Perfect for accompanying white meats such as chicken, turkey, and pork, it can also be served with fish soup.
