Description
The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo by Ciavolich is made from a selection of native red grapes from the youngest vineyards of the Loreto Aprutino estate.
A manual harvest and the immediate transport of the grapes to the winery are followed by gentle pressing and about 8 hours of skin maceration. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel, where both the fermentation and an aging period of about 3 months occur.
The wine displays a cherry-pink colour. On the nose, it reveals notes of fresh red fruit, with currants and cherries standing out, alongside delicate herbal hints. On the palate, it is fresh and well-balanced with a persistent flavour.
Excellent served with braised meats in tomato sauce and with cured meats.
