Description

This Chianti Classico from Fontodi is born from the Filetta vineyard, located 600 meters above sea level in the Lamole area, a highly regarded Tuscan zone reached by the winery since 2014.

Pure Sangiovese. The must ferments in steel with skin maceration. The wine is then aged for 24 months in large French oak barrels.

The color is an intense and brilliant ruby red. On the nose, it reveals aromas of cherry and wild berries, with hints of licorice, tobacco, and violet. On the palate, it is elegant and fluid, with good aromatic complexity, finishing fresh and persistent.

Ideal for pairing with braised meats and roasts, it is also enjoyable with aged cheeses.
