10 years of blends from selected crus, 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier. Very thin perlage, officinal plants and acacia on the nose, juicy mouth and surprising iodized finish, with a nice persistence.

Description

The Champagne Brut Black Label is a tribute to Great Britain by Victor Lanson, one of the most important figures of the homonymous maison: the black color in this case is a symbol of elegance and recalls the clear dominance in the blend of the Pinot Nero grape.

This label fully reflects the production style of the Lanson house: a blend of classic Champagne grapes, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from numerous crus chosen by the winemaker, with the addition of reserve wines from 10 different vintages; fermentation without malolactic fermentation and aging for at least 3 years in quarries on its own yeasts.

It is characterized by a straw yellow color with slight amber reflections. The nose plays on a full fruit, alternating with sweet and mineral notes. On the palate it is fleshy and dry but also lively, giving an important progression between notes of citrus, green melon and hints of minerality.

This brut sans année is ideal both as an aperitif and throughout the meal. It excels in the company of fish, shellfish and fresh cheeses.
