Description

The Gold Top from Heidsieck & Co. Monopole is a Brut Champagne of great elegance and depth, crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay. The cuvée displays a rich, harmonious and complex style, with a generous structure supported by freshness and finesse.

The second fermentation takes place in bottle according to the traditional method, followed by more than six years of aging on the lees. The long maturation fosters the development of evolved aromas, creaminess and persistence, while the balanced dosage preserves tension and harmony.

In the glass it shows a pale golden color with delicate coppery highlights and a fine mousse. The bouquet evokes baked apple and pear, blackberry, plum and light toasty nuances; on the palate, smoky notes, candied fruit, hazelnut and pistachio emerge, accompanied by a fresh, long and persistent finish.

Pairs with seared scallops, creamy mushroom risotto, fine fish and seafood-based dishes.
