Description

The Champagne Sainte Anne Brut by Chartogne Taillet is a fine example coming from vineyards that grow on the sandy limestone soils of Merfy. This Champagne is a balanced blend of Chardonnay and black grapes, with a predominance of Pinot Noir, which reflects the diversity and richness of its terroir.

Winemaking takes place in barrels and a small part of the Champagne matures in vats, especially reserve wines and does not undergo any filtration during bottling. This process gives the wine an extraordinary purity and an intense expression of the terroir.

Visually, it presents an intense straw yellow color. On the nose, notes of bread crust enriched by pleasant nuances of honey stand out. In the mouth, the texture reveals itself to be opulent at the beginning, followed by a lively saline and mineral note. The finish is complex and persistent, with a crystalline structure that emphasizes the unique identity of the village of Merfy.

This Champagne pairs beautifully with fresh cheeses, fish dishes and serves perfectly as an aperitif. Capable of enhancing the meal thanks to its balance and minerality.
