Champagne AOC Vintage 2009 Louis Roederer
Description
Louis Roederer's Champagne Vintage comes from grapes from the prestigious Reims mountain region, in the heart of the AOC Champagne.
It is made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. collected and selected only by hand. After the classic winemaking processes, partly carried out in oak barrels, the second fermentation takes place according to the Classic Method, by refermentation in the bottle, with an aging of about 4 years on its lees followed by a period of 6 months in bottle then disgorgement.
Louis Roederer's Champagne Vintage is characterized by a bright golden yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with fruity aromas of peach and ripe pear, citrus and dried fruit, accompanied by elegant mineral hints. On the palate it is broad and juicy, with floral notes and ripe white fruit, enriched with hints of bitter chocolate, candied fruits and toasted bread. The finish is long and persistent, with pleasant freshness and minerality.
This Champagne is perfect to accompany grilled fish and refined white meat dishes.
