Description
The Chianti Petriolo of Fattoria Petriolo was born in vineyards located on the hills of Rignano sull'Arno, in the province of Florence.
It is produced 90% with Sangiovese grapes and 10% with Canaiolo Nero, Ciliegiolo and Colorino grapes, rigorously harvested by hand between the end of September and mid-October. The grapes are selected in the vineyard, then fermented with maceration on the skins for about 10 days at controlled temperature. The wine then ages in steel with a short passage in cask and ages in bottle for about 1 month before being marketed.
It is a wine with a ruby red color and an elegant and full bouquet, among which pleasant notes of red berry fruits stand out. The taste is harmonious and dry, with light tannins and a good structure.
Perfect to accompany first courses and meats, both red and white, it is ideal in combination with cold cuts, salami and medium-textured cheeses.
