Description

The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Panzano from the Castelli del Grevepesa winery was born in vineyards located in Panzano, a place that has enjoyed immense fame since time immemorial for the value of its wine.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 30 months in barrique and for further 3 months in bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet, with hints of violet, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is broad, pleasantly sapid and with elegant and velvety tannins.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
