Description

The Chianti Classico Riserva Massi del Colombaio di Colombaio di Cenci was born on the Tuscan hills in the locality of Cornia, Montelodoli and Vinci.

The manual harvest of the Sangiovese grapes takes place between September and October. The grapes are de-stemmed and vinified in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, with a maceration on the skins for 15-20 days at about 25 ° C. The aging of the wine takes place in large wooden barrels for 24 months.

Ruby red in color, the wine releases hints of violet, ripe red fruit, plum and spices on the nose. The sip is elegant and enveloping, with elegant tannins and a persistent finish.

Ideal in combination with red meats and game both stewed and roasted, as well as aged cheeses.
