Description
Cilento Fiano Pietraincatenata by Luigi Maffini was born in vineyards located on the gentle hills overlooking the splendid Tyrrhenian Sea, in the municipality of Castellabate, in the province of Salerno.
It is produced exclusively with Fiano grapes, harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. After a soft pressing, the grapes ferment in barrique at a controlled temperature of 16-18 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for about 18 months, before being bottled.
It is characterized by a golden yellow color. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, with aromas of exotic fruits, enriched with pleasant notes of candied fruit. On the palate it is soft, with a pleasantly dense body. The wine has a long finish, with an aftertaste of toasted almond and wild flowers.
Perfect to accompany fish and raw fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with first courses and fries.
