Description

The Schioppettino di Prepotto is produced by the Antico Borgo dei Colli company, located in the Friulian Collio and precisely in Prepotto. The vineyards are located in the Judrio valley, on the border with the Italian and Slovenian Collio.

The Schioppettino grapes are vinified with maceration and fermentation for 15-20 days in thermoregulated steel tanks. The wine ages in tonneaux and wooden barrels for 9-10 months before being bottled.

Ruby red in color, it is expressed on the nose with aromas of dried plums and dark spices. The sip is dry and sapid, with a persistent finish.

Excellent in combination with game dishes and aged cheeses.
