Colli Pesaresi DOC Blanc de Pinot Noir Impero 2012 Mancini
Description
The Colli Pesaresi Blanc de Pinot Noir Empire of the Mancini Farm was born in vineyards located within the San Bartolo Natural Park, near the magical high coast of Focara, a magical promontory overlooking the Adriatic Sea. Pinot Noir was introduced to this territory during the French domination of the Napoleonic empire.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested only by hand between the end of August and the beginning of September. After a soft pressing and a static decanting of the must, the grapes ferment in barriques at a temperature of 18 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 12 months. The Empire has the particularity of being a Pinot Noir vinified in white, obtained thanks to experience
It is characterized by a straw yellow color with copper highlights. The nose opens with intense spicy aromas, enriched with delicate nuances of aromatic herbs and vanilla. On the palate it is powerful, pleasantly creamy and consistent, with a balanced acidity. The wine has a structure and body that recalls that of a red wine.
Perfect to accompany appetizers and first courses, it is ideal in combination with vegetables and fish dishes.
