Description

Derthona "Bricco San Michele" by Claudio Mariotto is made from 100% Timorasso grapes grown on calcareous-clay soils, expressing a strong and authentic territorial identity. This wine is an elegant and mineral interpretation of Timorasso, capable of combining structure, finesse, and notable ageing potential.

The vinification process involves gentle and slow pressing followed by spontaneous fermentation at a controlled temperature. Ageing takes place for one year on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks with light bâtonnage, followed by at least twelve months in the bottle, helping to develop complexity and depth.

It shows a clear medium-intensity golden yellow colour. The nose presents a floral and fruity profile, enriched by warm sensations and mineral notes reminiscent of flint, with final hints of chamomile. On the palate, it is structured and elegant, with a pleasant persistence.

Pairs well with structured fish dishes, white meats, and refined preparations.
