Description

The Côtes du Rhône Villages of Calvet was born in the homonymous wine region of the Rhône Valley. The cellar has belonged to the Calvet family since the 1800s.

The Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan and Counoise grapes initially undergo a short cold maceration. Subsequently the grapes are vinified in thermoregulated vats.

Deep purple-red in colour, the nose has aromas of black fruit jam, cinnamon and vanilla. The sip is dry and warm, with soft tannins.

Excellent with baked pasta and roasted meats.
