Etna Rosato DOC Mofete 2019 Palmento Costanzo
Data sheet
Description
This Etna Rosato belongs to the Palmento Costanzo line known by the name of Mofete, a selection of younger vineyards, from 5 to 30 years of age, whose name recalls the scientific denomination of the last gaseous manifestations of a volcanic eruption.
After harvesting, the grapes are left to ferment in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for up to 12 hours, followed by partial malolactic fermentation and aging in steel for 6 months.
It presents itself at the sight of an average intense pink color. The scent is expressed on hints of violet and wild herbs, to then recall fruity and mineral notes. The sip is smooth and fresh, with a long persistence.
It goes well with seafood appetizers but is perfect served fresh as an aperitif.
