Description
The Lighthouse Quattroenne cellar The Casemates born in vineyards located in the beautiful scenery of the Strait of Messina, in the locality Upper Lighthouse.
It is produced with Nerello Mascalese, Nocera, Nerello Cappuccio and Nero d'Avola grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22 ° C with daily pumping over. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique before being bottled.
It is characterized by a garnet red color. The nose opens with a large and complex bouquet of mulberries and blackberries. On the palate it is pleasantly soft and with a persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany stewed meats and mushroom dishes, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
