Description
The Friuli Colli Orientali Ribolla Gialla from the Myò selection of Zorzettig comes from the sunniest vineyard in the Pavia area of Spessa in Lombardy.
It is produced only with Ribolla Gialla grapes, harvested by hand in small fully matured crates and pressed whole. After a short cold decantation, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 10 ° C for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages on the noble lees for 6 months, before being bottled.
Zorzettig's Ribolla Gialla Myò is characterized by a pale straw yellow color. The nose opens with intense floral aromas of chamomile and acacia flowers. In the mouth it is well balanced between the structure and the acid component, with excellent flavor and a pleasantly persistent finish.
This white wine is perfect to accompany shellfish soups, mushrooms and au gratin vegetables.
