Friuli Grave DOC Friulano 2016 Villa Chiopris
Description
Friulano di Villa Chiopris was born in the vineyards located between the municipality of Chiopris-Viscone and that of San Giovanni al Natisone, in Friuli.
This wine is entirely made with Frilano grapes, through a mechanized harvest. After pressing with cold maceration and cleaning the must by decanting, the fermentation process in steel barrels starts at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C. After the fermentation phase, the wine rests for about 4 months in the same containers, then it is bottled and left to refine in glass, before distribution.
Friulano di Villa Chiopris has a straw yellow color. The nose offers interesting floral notes of yellow and white flowers. In the mouth it is dry and of good flavor, with an almondy finish of excellent balance.
It goes very well with light fish appetizers, San Daniele raw ham and not too structured fish dishes.
