Description

The Isonzo Merlot of Cormòns originates from vineyards located along the banks of the homonymous river, within the fertile plain of the Isonzo.

It consists only of Merlot grapes, which ferment with maceration in contact with the skins for 2 weeks. This is followed by refinement of the wine in oak barrels.

The color is intense ruby red, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a bouquet of ripe red fruit, accompanied by fresh herbaceous notes. The taste is complex and soft, with a beautiful structure.

Perfect in the company of appetizers and aged cheeses, it is excellent with cold cuts such as speck and ham, both cooked and raw. Try it with the Venetian liver.
