Description

The Garda Classico Superiore di Avanzi is born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Manerba and Polpenazze del Garda, in the province of Brescia.

It is mainly produced with Groppello grapes and Barbera, Sangiovese and Marzemino grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand at the end of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 8 months in barriques, before being bottled.

Deep ruby red in color, Avanzi's Garda Classico Superiore opens to the nose with notes of spices and wild strawberries. On the palate it is soft and savory, with an excellent structure, with a pleasantly long and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany roasted and stewed red meats, it is excellent in combination with aged cheeses.
