Description

Potrero Malbec by Vinos de Potrero is an Argentinian red wine produced in the Gualtallary area, in the Uco Valley, one of the most highly regarded regions of Mendoza. Made from Malbec grapes, it expresses the purity of the fruit along with the floral and mineral notes typical of high-altitude terroirs, offering a fresh, authentic, yet complex style.

The grapes come from vineyards characterized by predominantly calcareous soils and a climate marked by significant temperature swings, conditions that encourage aromatic concentration, natural freshness, and expressive precision. The winemaking is carried out with the aim of preserving the varietal character of Malbec and the mineral identity of the territory, resulting in a balanced, straightforward, and enjoyable wine to drink.

Deep red in color. On the nose, it offers aromas of geranium, red and purple flowers, small red fruits, herbal hints, mineral accents and subtle spicy notes; on the palate it is warm, full-bodied and pure, with good freshness, present tannins, and a savory and harmonious finish.

It pairs well with grilled red meats, roasts, game, aged cheeses, and spicy South American dishes.
