Description

Langhe Nascetta from Mirafiore is a white wine produced from the native Nascetta variety in the Serralunga d'Alba area.

The vineyards are located at about 300 meters above sea level with a south, south-east exposure on clay soils rich in calcareous marl. After harvesting in small 20 kg crates, the whole bunches are gently pressed. The must settles in the tank for 24/36 hours and is then started towards alcoholic fermentation, which lasts for at least 3 weeks. At the end, the wine rests on its fine lees until spring and before bottling.

Beautiful straw yellow color with greenish highlights, it releases on the nose fleshy white fruits, apricot and elderflower, slowly evolving towards aromatic herbs. Soft on the palate, it is enveloping and fresh, with hints of white melon and sage, characterized by a balanced minerality and a long finish.

Ideal to serve alongside raw fish and semi-aged cheeses. Also perfect to enhance grilled white meats with aromatic herbs.
