Description

Lessona delle Tenute Sella comes from the historic hills of the homonymous municipality, located in the Upper Piedmont, from 55-year-old vineyards. The soil characterized by a good presence of ancient marine sands guarantees finesse and a delicate taste to the wines of this area.

It is made from Nebbiolo grapes to which a fair percentage of Vespolina grapes is associated. The grape harvest takes place between the middle of September and the middle of October. We proceed with the fermentation in steel tanks with maceration of 24 days, the malolactic fermentation, then an aging of 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels.

It is presented in the glass in garnet red with luminous reflections. The olfactory system revolves around notes of red berry fruit, enriched with light spicy and vegetable references. The drink is fresh and vibrant, with good tannins to give structure and a finish of great harmony and balance.

Perfect with meats, this wine gives its best served in the company of a platter of cured meats or medium-long aged cheeses.
