Description

The Lugana Centofilari by Gerardo Cesari is a white wine produced in the Veneto region, between the towns of Pozzolengo and Peschiera del Garda. This white wine is primarily made from Turbiana grapes, with a small addition of Chardonnay, grown on clay-limestone soils. The vines benefit from the mild and ventilated climate thanks to the proximity of the lake.

After harvesting, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and the resulting must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged in steel on fine lees for several months before being bottled in spring.

This wine presents a brilliant straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers a rich aromatic bouquet with hints of tropical fruits, ripe apple, yellow peach, and white flowers, accompanied by citrus notes. On the palate, it stands out for its smooth and rather full body, balanced by lively freshness and a persistent mineral aftertaste.

Perfect when paired with risottos and lake fish dishes such as trout or eel.
