Description
Versante Sud di Lanciani is an organic Pecorino produced in the area of Montefiore dell’Aso, at 450 meters above sea level, on clay soils. Made from pure Pecorino grapes, it represents an authentic and organic expression of the Marche hills, skilfully combining structure, freshness, and a strong territorial identity.
Vinification takes place in truncated conical barrels made of Italian oak, a choice that allows for harmonious fermentation and a subtle aromatic evolution. Aging continues in the same barrels for about six months, giving the wine complexity and integration without sacrificing clarity and energy.
The wine shows a bright, luminous yellow color. The nose reveals intriguing citrus notes and hints of exotic fruit, followed by nuances of sweet almond and flint. On the palate, it surprises with marked sapidity and a solid structure, supported by good acidity and perfectly integrated alcohol, leading to a long and balanced finish.
It pairs perfectly with turbot, pike, brodetto marchigiano, and moderately fatty lake or sea fish.
