Description

Vermentino Litorale Val delle Rose di Cecchi is produced in Poggio la Mozza, in the Grosseto area. It is made from 100% Vermentino grapes grown at around 150 meters above sea level, on sandstone soils rich in decomposed rock.

The winemaking is aimed at preserving the freshness and varietal expression of Vermentino. The wine completes its journey with aging on the lees followed by a period in bottle, fostering balance, harmony, and aromatic definition.

In the glass it generally shows a bright straw-yellow color. The aromatic profile is fresh and fragrant, characterized by citrus and floral notes; on the palate it shows a pleasant vibrancy, accompanied by Vermentino’s typical salinity and a balanced, persistent finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs elegantly with seafood starters, fish, shellfish, delicate pasta dishes, vegetables, and dishes of Mediterranean cuisine.
