Description
This Riesling Trocken is born from old vines, for which Alte Reben, whose roots go more than 7 meters deep, absorbing many minerals from the soil and thus developing a unique aromatic kit of its kind.
The carefully selected grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation with the use of indigenous yeasts. The aging on the fine lees therefore favors the development of an indomitable complexity.
It has an intense straw yellow color. On the nose there are distinct notes of fresh rhubarb, accompanied by fruity hints of pear, black currant and Mirabella plum. In the mouth it is incredibly creamy and multifaceted, well balanced between sweetness and acidity, with hints of flint expressed on a pleasantly mineral background.
Divinely accompanies grilled fish and shellfish.
