Piave DOC Rosso dell'Arnasa 2020 Castello di Roncade
Description
The Rosso dell'Arnasa of Castello di Roncade was born in Veneto, in the vineyards of the Renaissance castle, owned by the barons Ciani Bassetti, who took over the property at the beginning of the twentieth century.
The pure Merlot grapes are destemmed and crushed, to then be vinified in the traditional way with fulling of the cap. The wine then ages in French oak tonneaux for about 12 months.
The wine has an intense ruby red color and expresses aromas of violet, red fruit and spicy notes on the nose. The sip is dry and round, with an excellent persistence.
It goes very well with both roasted and grilled red meats.
