Description
The Pinot Nero Fioravanti di Calatroni is born in vineyards located in the heart of the Otrepò Pavese DOC.
It is produced entirely from Pinot Noir grapes, harvested manually in the first ten days of September. After a maceration of about 10 days, the fermentation of the must takes place for a large part in steel and for a small part in oak barrels. After 6 months of aging, the two masses are assembled and then bottled.
It appears at the sight of a ruby red color. On the nose it expresses fresh fruity notes of black currant, blackberry and raspberry. The palate is intense, fruity and inviting, characterized by some spicy notes to complete the picture.
Perfect with pasta dishes seasoned with fresh sauces, it is exalted in the company of red meats such as roast beef.
