Description
What kind of wine it is
Lupo Meraviglia is a red wine from Puglia with an intense character, released in the Limited Edition Unleash with an embossed screen-printed bottle. It is made from red-skinned grapes from Puglia and stands out for its substantial structure and mature, persistent tannins. The limited edition also makes it a collector’s item, featuring warm-toned graphics.
Where it comes from
The grapes come from Puglia, a land to which the wine is tied in style and identity. Presented as an expression of the power and elegance of the territory, with a profile that evokes the red soils of Southern Italy. The result is a red that maintains a direct connection to its origins.
How it is made
Winemaking aims to extract the maximum potential from the skins, concentrating tactile and aromatic components in the must. Fermentation lasts about fifteen days and is followed by two maceration phases on the skins, each around two weeks, at controlled temperatures. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and, after a period of natural maturation, is bottled.
Tasting notes
In the glass it is a deep, impenetrable red. The bouquet is rich in red fruit and jam, melding with sweet and spicy notes. On the palate it shows great structure and long persistence, finishing with a pleasant tannic finish.
What to pair it with
Thanks to its body and tannins, it’s ideal with flavorful first courses, for example pasta with ragù. It pairs well with red meats and grilled dishes, where its structure supports the savoriness and juiciness of the food. It also works with aged cheeses.
When to serve it
It’s a red suited to lunches and dinners with company, when the table features rich, convivial dishes. Serve it in a large-bowled glass, which helps appreciate the intensity of its aromas. Thanks to the limited edition and the screen-printed bottle, it’s also a gift idea with striking visual impact.
