Description
The Marquès de Murrieta Reserva was born in the vineyards located in the famous Spanish denomination of Rioja.
The wine is produced 90% with Temparillo grapes and 10% with Mazuelo (4%), Graciano (2%), Garnacha (1%). After the destemming phase, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and in constant contact with the skins. The wine is then evolved for twenty-one months in American oak barrels, at least eight months of these in new wood. Bottle aging follows for at least twenty four months.
Marquès de Murrieta Reserva has an intense red color with evident garnet reflections. The nose offers us a remarkable aromatic complexity with hints of black fruit followed by balsamic and spicy notes. The taste is round, with ripe tannins that combine perfectly with good freshness. At the end of the mouth there are fruity notes accompanied by hints of boisè.
Perfect to accompany red meats, ideal in combination with cold cuts, cold cuts and aged cheeses.
