Description

Colección Vivanco Parcelas de Maturana Tinta is a red wine from Rioja made from Maturana Tinta grapes sourced from selected plots located in Badarán and Briones. This indigenous, rare grape variety, rediscovered thanks to extensive research, represents an authentic and distinctive expression of the land, characterized by personality and intensity.

The winemaking process involves manual harvesting in small crates and separate fermentations for each plot, with cold macerations and the use of natural yeasts. The wine then ages in oak barriques from different origins, remaining in contact with the fine lees to develop complexity, structure and balance.

In the glass, it shows a deep purple-red color with brilliant garnet reflections. The bouquet offers intense spicy aromas accompanied by notes of black fruit, pepper, cloves, and balsamic and mineral hints. On the palate, it is elegant and vibrant, with a harmonious structure, pleasant freshness, and a long, persistent finish.

It pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, stews, and hearty dishes with rich sauces.
