Roero DOCG Rosso 2013 Massucco
Description
The Roero Rosso of the Massucco winery takes its name from the Castagnito Roero terroir in which it was born, located in Piedmont.
It is mainly produced with Nebbiolo and Arneis grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for about 12 months before being bottled.
The Roero Rosso di Massucco is characterized by an intense, very inviting ruby red color. The nose opens with a refined and ample fruity bouquet. On the palate it is dry, enveloping and at the same time velvety.
Perfect to combine with cold cuts and cured meats, it is ideal to serve with barbecued meats accompanied by sautéed mushrooms or escalope with mushrooms.
