Description
Rosso di Montalcino is a red wine produced in the hilly area of Montalcino, Tuscany, at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level. This wine stems from the Cecchi family's experience in enhancing Tuscany's historic denominations and represents a younger and more immediate version compared to the famous Brunello.
Obtained from grapes cultivated using the cordon spur pruning system, it is vinified according to the traditional red method at controlled temperatures. The wine is aged in steel and cement containers, followed by a four-month rest in the bottle, thus maintaining the freshness of the fruit and promoting the harmony of the sip.
Visually, it presents a ruby red color. The aroma is delicate, with floral hints and notes of ripe red fruit. On the palate, it is fresh, crisp, and well-balanced, with pleasant gustatory harmony and a good final persistence.
It is ideal with appetizers, pasta or rice dishes, white meats, and aged cheeses.
