Description
Rosso di Montalcino is produced by the Tassi winery, a Tassi family company with vineyards located on the slopes of the ancient Velona manor.
It is made exclusively of Sangiovese grapes, which are vinified in non-vitrified concrete tanks with indigenous yeasts, with a maceration of 8-10 days. The refinement takes place in large wooden barrels for 12 months.
Ruby red in color, it opens on the nose with aromas of cherry with spicy notes. In the mouth it is dry and warm, with soft tannins and good persistence.
It pairs well with tagliatelle with ragù and grilled meat.
