Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2020 Casisano

Rosso di Montalcino DOC Casisano is produced with Sangiovese grapes from young vines of the Podere Casisano di Montalcino, planted during the recovery of abandoned vineyards in 2015.

The vinification takes place in steel tanks with the use of indigenous yeasts, following the traditional method with maceration on the skins for about 12 days. Subsequently the wine matures 8 months in Slavonian oak barrels and then refines in bottle for at least 6 months.

It has a beautiful intense ruby red and offers a complex bouquet to the nose ranging from violet to plum, from red fruits to spices. The successful balance between tannins and acidity gives a wine of great balance and a fresh and persistent finish.

Very versatile on the table, it is suitable for finishing first courses with meat sauces, grilled meats, cold cuts and cheeses.
