Rosso Piceno DOC 2014 Conti degli Azzoni

Rosso Piceno from the Conti degli Azzoni winery was born on the Marche hills.

It is produced with Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes, which undergo a long maceration process and a 12-month maturation in barriques.

This Rosso Piceno is characterized by a ruby red color, enriched with purple reflections. The nose opens with hints of sweet spices, such as vanilla, and delicate aromas of red berry fruits. On the palate it is well balanced, with excellent persistence and a pleasant licorice aftertaste.

Perfect in combination with land appetizers, this wine is ideal to accompany red meats, especially beef fillet, and fresh or seasoned sheep's cheeses.
