Description

The Saint-Émilion Grand Cru of Château Haut-Filius was born in Bordeaux. The Château has belonged to the Querre family since the 1960s.

The wine is made up of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes. They are traditionally vinified in thermoregulated steel tanks. Aging takes place for 12 months in wooden vats.

Brilliant ruby red in colour, the wine expresses a bouquet of purple flowers, red fruits enriched with notes of licorice and black pepper.

It goes well with grilled and stewed red meats, as well as aged cheeses.
