Description

The Salento Primitivo Artas of Castello Monaci was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Salice Salentino.

It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 6 months, and for further 6 months in bottle.

Artas is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet, with aromas of berries, enriched with pleasant balsamic notes of roasted coffee. On the palate it is full, pleasantly warm and soft. The wine has an enveloping body, with sweet and elegant tannins.

Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and roasts.
