Description
Sauternes Lur Saluces is produced by Château Raymond-Lafon, founded in the 19th century by Raymond Lafon. The Château is located southwest of Bordeaux on the left bank of the Garonne. Today it belongs to the Meslier family, who have managed it since the early 1970s.
After vinification, the Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes are aged in French oak barriques for 48 months.
Intense golden yellow in color, the nose opens aromas of ripe yellow fruit, honey and vanilla. The sip is powerful and creamy, with a fresh and very persistent finish.
Ideal in combination with dry pastries and very seasoned and blue cheeses.
