Description

Blumenfeld's Cabernet Riserva is a wine produced from selected vineyards located in the most suitable areas of Bolzano and its surroundings, on warm and sunny slopes at altitudes ranging from 250 to 300 meters above sea level. The grapes used are mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, with a small portion of Cabernet Franc, grown on porphyry-origin soils that give the wine a marked complexity and typicity.

The vinification follows a traditional process with alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, followed by aging in oak barrels and a subsequent period of resting in the bottle. This method enhances the typical character of Cabernet and ensures good longevity of the final product.

The wine shows an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections, offering a fruity and floral bouquet on the nose with notes of black currant, blackberry, blueberry, violet, and red roses, enriched by hints of dark chocolate and a delicate spiciness. On the palate, it is full-bodied, intense, and elegant, with a fine and well-integrated tannic structure.

This wine pairs perfectly with grilled or braised red meats, roasts, and game.
