Description

Peter Dipoli's Alto Adige Sauvignon Voglar was born between the slopes of the Voglar vineyard, located in Penon, in the Bolzano municipality of Cortaccia. This Sauvignon is recognized as one of the best in Italy.

It is made entirely with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, harvested when perfectly ripe between the end of September and the beginning of October. The must ferments in large acacia barrels for 10 days, followed by a pause on the lees for 6 months and for a further period in the bottle before being marketed.

It has an intense straw yellow color. The nose opens with a delicate and floral bouquet, with herbaceous notes that blend in perfect balance with the citrus and mineral ones. In the mouth it is fresh and fruity, well structured and persistent.

Excellent together with appetizers and first courses based on fish, it goes well with grilled or stewed fish and fresh cheeses.
