Description

The Alto Adige Lagrein Lareith of the Kaltern-Caldaro winery was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Caldaro, in the province of Bolzano.

It is produced with pure Lagrein grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand between September and October. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for 12 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in barrique before being bottled.

It has an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with delicate hints of small red fruits, enriched with elegant notes of chocolate. It is harmonious and concentrated on the palate, with soft tannins that accompany a pleasantly long finish.

Perfect to accompany game, roasts and red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with seasoned and tasty cheeses.
