Description
The Müller Thurgau by Adler von Klausen is a white wine obtained from the crossing of Riesling and Madeleine Royale, developed at the end of the 19th century by the Swiss botanist Hermann Müller. This wine is distinguished by its color varying from greenish to straw yellow.
The grapes are grown on sunny slopes at altitudes between 550 and 970 meters, on stony alluvial soils rich in diorite and phyillite quartz. The winemaking involves gentle pressing, fermentation at controlled temperature, and maturation on fine lees in stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation.
On the nose, the Müller Thurgau by Adler von Klausen offers an intense and characteristic aroma, with light hints of muscat and elderflower. On the palate, it is fresh and aromatic, with a pleasant acidity and a delicately mineral finish.
It pairs perfectly with light appetizers, fish dishes, and fresh cheeses.
